Determining what the added value that a university education provides to a student during the teaching-learning process, which ends in their professionalization is one of the main concerns of all  university academic programs, which seek high-quality accreditation. This report provides an analysis of the Industrial Engineering program at the University of Ibagué, using as a basis the results obtained by the students who graduated during 2016-2019. The findings indicate that the program is able to create added value in its graduating students, both in terms of the development of generic and specific competencies typical of a professional and industrial engineer.
