As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published nor has it been submitted for consideration by any other journal (or an explanation has been provided in the comments to the editorial coordination). If it is an article which has already been published in another language, the source has been reported and indicated.
  • The file must be in Microsoft Word format.
  • For the references, whenever possible, web addresses will be provided.
  • The format of the text is Times New Roman, 1.5 line spacing and font size 12.
  • The text is aligned to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements summarized in the Author Guidelines/a, that appear in About the journal.
  • The text follows the guidelines of the Publications Guide of Ediciones Unibagué which is governed by the Publications Manual of the American Psychological Association (3rd ed.).
  • The file contains title, abstract and keywords, both in Spanish and English.
  • In the case of articles in the Research section, verify that the document does not include author’s names and data.

Parameters for the submission of articles

Manuscripts for all sections of Dos mil tres mil must be submitted in Word format, Times New Roman, 1.5 line spacing, 2.5 margins at all ends, letter size paper, and their length should not exceed twenty-five (25) pages (this count does not include the pages for the bibliography). For the presentation of documents, the the Publications Guide from Ediciones Unibagué will be taken into account.

Bibliographical references in the text should correspond to the style format of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA) seventh edition. Footnotes should be used only in the case of clarifications that do not concern the stricto sensu of the idea developed in the body of the manuscript.

After approving the publication of the article, the editorial coordination of the journal will require for the design stage —if necessary— the files of all tables, graphs, maps, diagrams and photographs in high resolution. Authors are responsible for transforming or replacing the figures necessary for the design of the document, as well as for obtaining permissions for publication. The authors' data will be included at the time of submission on the platform: names, e-mails and ORCID code (optional). In order to guarantee a proper double-blind peer review exercise, the authors' data should not be included in the submission document. The order of appearance in the article will be as listed in this point.

 

Research

Submission of articles for this section should include the following sections:

  • Title and (optional) subtitle, in both English and Spanish.
  • As a footnote to the title, the following should be indicated:
  • Type of article
  • Title and details of the research project from which the article originates (if applicable).
  • Funding institutions of the project (if applicable)
  • Date of completion of the research (if applicable).
  • Abstract of the article: Briefly describe the research question, topic, or problem, as well as the methodology, results and conclusions obtained. It should not exceed two hundred and fifty (250) words and should be presented in both Spanish and English.
  • Keywords: They should not be included in the title of the article. They must be at least three (3) and must be included in both Spanish and English in the submission.
  • Introduction: Establishes the theoretical and research bases for understanding the research question, the structure of the article's content and its relevance to the scientific community.
  • Content of the article: Development of the topic according to the category of article presented.
  • Methodology (optional).
  • Results (optional): In accordance with the questions that promoted the conduct of the research.
  • Conclusions: Includes the recommendations or discussions that the author considers necessary according to the type of article presented.

Important:In order to guarantee the proper exercise of double-blind peer review, the authors' data should not be included in the submission document; these data should be added at the time of submission on the platform.
