Abstract
This special edition of the journal Dos mil tres mil was created as a tribute to the Specialization in Criminal Law of the University of Ibagué. For this reason, this article reviews the creation of the first postgraduate program of the School of Law and its evolution since 1995, when the agreement with the University Externado of Colombia was established to advance the Specialization in Criminal and Criminological Sciences in the region. This year marks twenty-eight years of uninterrupted operation, and we celebrate this significant milestone.
