Abstract
It was in 1994, when a group of lawyers proposed to Corporación Universitaria de Ibagué, which is known today as Universidad de Ibagué, the creation of a Law Program. As we celebrate the twenty-five years of existence of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences, the magazine Dos mil tres mil presents a review of its academic history in the voice of Hernando A. Hernández Quintero, Ph. D., dean of the faculty. The expectations, the arduous consolidation period, and the attained achievements are part of this review.
