A. Editorial Policy
Indagare journal is a journal of scientific dissemination, annual and of open access, published by the Research Directorate of the Universidad de Ibagué, committed to research and transfer programs (PRIT) institutionally prioritized:
Innovative technology-based agro-industry
- Coefficient conservation and utilization of the natural resources and the environment.
- Industry of high added value and international level services.
- Education and welfare for integral human development.
- Laws and justice for citizen coexistence.
- Inclusive and sustainable regional development.
The objective of the journal is to strengthen and make known to the community the advances that the Universidad de Ibagué achieves throughout the academic semesters, as a result of the activities and results that the teachers and students perform in the research area, within the groups of research or in the framework of training activities for research and inquiry.
The chosen reports or articles will be the ones related to research projects, undergraduate projects, beginner research groups and research presentations. The journal will have three sections:
- Scientific research results/advances.
- Training experiences for research and scientific thinking.
- Special guests.
The editorial committee of the Journal Indagare is in charge of ensuring compliance with the journal's objectives; for this reason, it will support the work of editorial coordination in the selection of articles, according to the parameters established by the journal.
In order to send articles, it is necessary to register on the magazine's platform, since the process of sending, editing and publishing will be done through the Open Journals Systems (OJS) platform. Authors need indicate the language of the text, include it in the Articles section and verify the checklist of the submission established by the journal. The final acceptance on the inclusion of the manuscripts will depend on the Editorial Committee and its publication will be through http://www.revistas.unibague.edu.co/index.php/indagare
Indagare provides free access to its content, under the licence Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International. Thus, it seeks to promote open access and greater knowledge exchange.

Advances or scientific-technological results are caused by internal and external research projects carried out by university professors, research groups, as well as undergraduate and graduate students.
Article Structure
The article includes title, summary, keywords, introduction (problem statement, background, objectives), materials and methods (methodological design, procedures and resources used), results (conclusions obtained or expected), if the research is ongoing, and bibliographical references. The document has a maximum length of 9 pages.
Title
The title of the article should reflect its content, a maximum of 12 words is suggested. It must be included in Spanish and English.

Abstract
Writings require a short abstract, maximum 8 lines, that provides enough information for readers to understand the subject of the article.
Keywords
At least three keywords to identify the topics of the work, both in Spanish and English. For the selection of keywords we recommend using existing thesaurus for different disciplines.
Introduction
Within the criteria of the introduction we must bear in mind: What is the approach to the problem? Who has addressed this issue before? And the rationale of the research.
Materials and methods
This section should address the most important sections, without going into details, on obtaining results. Materials and reax gents used should be included, if necessary.
Results
The knowledge that is being generated must be partially reported, without going into details (tables, figures, models, among others) that may interfere with future publications in indexed journals. Tables and figures should be included in Word format (editable), not in JPG format.
Potential use
Researchers diclose the relevance and importance of their research to society, and the impact it can have on the development of the region, the country and the world.
Data sheet of the project that derives or links it (if relevant).
References
Bibliographic references should be included at the end of the document, in alphabetical order and following the indications of the Publications Guide of Unibagué Editions, which is governed by the Publications Manual of the American Psychological Association (3rd ed.).
b. Training experiences for research and scientific thinking

This section gathers all training and scientific education experiences, which teachers develop alongside their students, with a view to promoting research culture in the University.
The document has an extension of 4 to 6 pages. And its structure includes the following:
Title
The title of the article should reflect its content, a maximum of 12 words is suggested. It must be included in Spanish and English.

The document can be organized using subtitles. The development presents trends in research in the area of training, and the argued synthesis of the review.
Conclusion
The conclusion summarizes all the support presented, the implications and possibilities of the area in future research.
Bibliographical References
At least three references must be included at the end of the document, in alphabetical order and following the indications of the Publications Guide of Ediciones Unibagué, which is governed by the Publications Manual of the American Psychological Association (3rd ed.).

This section gathers the journalistic texts made to researchers referring to various areas of knowledge, who participate in the events of the academy, science and technology developed in the region and, of course, at Universidad de Ibagué.
Files must include both the title, the abstract and the keywords in Spanish and English.
