Abstract
Professor Carlos Alberto Areche Medina, DSc of the Universidad de Talca and professor of the Department of Chemistry at the University of Chile, was at the Universidad de Ibagué, giving the conference "drug discovery from natural sources". Therefore, we made the most of his presence to talk about the progress of phytopharmaceutical studies in our continent.
