Abstract

To understand the child's development process, it is important to analyze the emotional dimension as a key aspect to cope with daily life situations. The attachment theory, as a contemporary frame of reference, has reported significant advances in the understanding of human development during its early years. Thus, affectivity is understood as a fundamental basis, and the quality of care that adults provide to children is a crucial factor for promoting a healthy development.
