Abstract

The call for submissions for Volume 28 of the journal Dos mil tres mil brings us great satisfaction. The journal has received official recognition through the most recent classification and recognition process conducted by Colombia’s Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (Minciencias). In addition, our editorial board has expanded to include scholars from different parts of the world, distinguished for their commitment to research and teaching. For this call, we have sought to address issues of far-reaching significance at both local and global contexts. By doing so, we aim to encourage reflection on the challenges we face, as well as the potential solutions we can develop as a civilization. Given the intricacy of the subject, we have adopted a transdisciplinary approach to gain a comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon. Accordingly, the analysis of law constitutes our primary epistemological framework. However, our methodological approach extends into shared fields of inquiry in order to provide a holistic perspective, drawing on anthropology, sociology, psychology and other fields of human knowledge.
